This cultivar was imported to Denmark from Kazakhstan by the brother of Boi Jensen, around ~2008.

Kazakhstan is the origin of apple trees, so having a cultivar directly imported from Kazakhstan, instead of via the silk road with admixture from crab apples etc is interesting.
